Personal Progress Individual Worth #1

Today Sister Ealey gave a wonderful lesson on The Godhead.

Three beings make up the Godhead:

~God the Father (our Father)

~Jesus Christ (Son of God, our Brother)

~The Holy Ghost (A gift from our Heavenly Father to guide us and direct us here on earth)

The three of them work together to help us progress here on earth and be able to return to live with them forever because they love us so so very much!!

"Knowing God is so important that the Savior said, 'This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent' (John 17:3). The first and greatest commandment is 'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heart' (Matt 22:37). The more we know God, the more we love Him and keep His commandments (see John 2:3-5). By keeping His commandments we can become like Him. 

This lesson ties in with our Personal Progress (Yay!)

Individual Worth Value Experience #1 (pg 30)

We read the scriptures in class, now all you need to do is write in your journal how these scriptures teach you that Heavenly Father knows you, loves you, and is mindful of you. 

Sister Ealey would also like you to choose 1 goal to work on this week to come to know God even better.

Those of you who weren't here, (we missed you!) you can do the reading on your own so you can get this passed off too!

Bring your Personal Progress Books back next Sunday so we can pass this off!!
